Bacon-Wrapped Dates FocacciBites Style
Ingredients
1 bag of Asturi FocacciBites, Olive Oil & Salt flavor
12 to 16 oz. bacon
20 to 24 dates
4 oz. goat cheese
A handful of toothpicks
Directions
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F.
Using a paring knife, cut a slit in the side of the date and remove the pits if your dates still have them in the inside.
With a spoon, add a little bit of goat cheese into each date and press the date closed.
Wrap each date with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Place atop a FocacciBite.
Bake in oven for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, flip the bacon-wrapped dates to the other side to make sure the entire bacon-wrapped date is cooked on all sides.
After an additional 15 minutes of cooking, remove from oven and enjoy your Bacon-Wrapped Dates, FocacciBites Style!
